We predicted what would happen to salt on saran wrap if we spoke over it with soft sound waves. Next, we predicted what would happen to the salt if we spoke with a loud voice.
We also determined how distance would affect the strength of energy.
You should have seen the salt dance and bounce all over the place! It was great to have a visual demonstration of how sound travels as energy in the form of compressed waves.
