Lots of Love in Mrs. Johnston's Class!

Our class had another fun-filled party, thanks to all of your donations, our awesome room parents, and amazing creativity!

Here are the kids handing out their Valentine's to one another.

They can't wait to check out the contents!

Speaking of amazing creativity, Mrs. Snawder custom-made a bookmarker for each child! (A while ago, she asked each student what they wanted as the decoration. Yes, she's super-mom, that's for sure!!)

Then came time for their annual Freeze Dance competition that they've been practicing since Kinder.

Mrs. Snawder tried her very best to make everyone giggle and move, but the kids were experts at this game!

What a fun way to celebrate LOVE! And of course, we thank the One who has given us unconditional love...Jesus!! Because He loved us first, we can love others.

Mentos Mania!

Here is a video from our Mentos and Diet Coke experiment. The kids submitted some ideas for the final chemical change experiment, and this one was chosen out of the 4 groups. Enjoy the squealing and the sound of sheer delight:)

Amazingly Creative Book Reports

I was SUPER impressed with everyone's book report on Friday!! When I explained how it went to Mrs. Jacobs, I said to her, "It was flawless!!"

I could tell that every student PRACTICED using the timer, which caused everyone to only focus on the main idea of the story. It was also neat to see a variety of reports. Enjoy the photos below...I did not take pictures during the presentation since I was busy taking notes. I took these afterwards when they were sighing a sigh of relief:)
